A quick look back at our first year as a company
What a year it has been.
Since we launched inzpire.me last spring, we’ve reached 10,000 registered influencers with more than 400,000,000 followers. Our influencers are from more than 100 countries across the globe, with 60% being from our top 5 countries: United States, Norway, France, Germany and United Kingdom. More than 100 brands have started using inzpire.me, and we’ve seen hundreds of inspiring collaborations between brands and influencers, like the recycling campaign from Green Dot Norway.
In October, we were selected to participate in Innovation Norway’s Nordic Tech Accelerator TINC in Silicon Valley. During the program, we were mentored by some of the best in the game, and inspired by amazing people, like Julie Hanna, who at the time was President Obama’s Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship.
From the west to the far east: Thanks to Oslo Business Region, we got a chance to pitch at Slush Tokyo Pitch Competition and made it all the way to the finals. Out of four finalists, we were selected as Japan Airline’s winner on the main stage in front of thousands of startups and investors.
Closing a seed round of $1 million was a huge milestone in April, and we are lucky to have a team of amazing investors (SNÖ Ventures, Thomas Falck, Erik Bakkejord, Tomas Settevik, Aase Settevik, Kaare M. Risung, Silvija Seres, Tim Nilo, Even Aas-Eng and Venture Factory) supporting us on our journey.
This summer, we moved into new offices at Storgata 32 and grew our team to 10 people from 6 different countries: Paul Arnould (FR), Chris Constandse (NL), Artyom Arzamasow (RU), Yuri Karapetyan (UA), Rustam Guseynov (UA), Kai Chen (NO), Leslie Ho (US), Mats Lyngstad (NO) and Marie Mostad (NO).
We are ready and excited to take on what lies ahead, and we truly appreciate everyone who’s been cheering us on. And if you’re ever in the neighborhood, we hope you’ll stop by. Our blue door is always open.
